M. Abdan Syakuro, who is also the Chairman of the MUI, Kundur Barat Subdistrict, explained that Wakaf Mata Hati has regular activities in her dorm, among others; organizing Tahfidz Qur'an, in daily conversation between students and students in the dormitory using 2 (two) languages (Bilingual Arabic-English), calligraphy courses, martial arts/silat, and training. In the Qur'an recital, Hadroh Art, gave a speech in English (public Speaking), a sewing course for santriwati.

To understand that the life of the Karimun people reflects the combination of local Malay wisdom harmonized with the modernization of free trade areas and is home to various ethnicities, especially Malays as natives, followed by the Chinese, Bugis, Minang, and others communities. Therefore, the Wakaf Mata Hati Institute seeks to appear as a portrait icon of educational institutions that can be influential and calculated.
